The OUFC Program

The OUFC program is for young players who aspire to achieve excellence in the game. Our emphasis is player-centric, with development being our top priority. We focus on the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development of our players within a pathway designed to maximize potentials.

The “Dutch - Total Voetbal” tradition that has been established over the past 50 years is based on each player improving significantly in all aspects of the game. All players will be treated as equals, and will be comfortable playing in multiple positions, possess a strong desire to win the game, and play within our style and buy in to our philosophy. All players will conduct themselves professionally at all times in accordance with the OUFC player code of conduct.

The OUFC coaching staff consists of coaches who will positively influence our players’ lives. They will inspire and motivate players in an atmosphere of respect, honesty, and encouragement, rather than one built on fear and intimidation. Players are students of the game and will be encouraged to think for themselves. Success is achieved through building proper habits and developing a high level of accountability. The standards at OUFC emphasize good habits and high levels of accountability, encouraging players to be active participants in their own development.

Our Academy program (ages 15+) is for our high school players. Due to players having their respective high school seasons, the academy program is a 9-month program. Teams will train twice a week and play games on most weekends (subject to league scheduling). OUFC teams will generally compete in 2-3 additional tournaments throughout the year. The W.I.N. Academy program is for players with a passion for soccer who aim to maximize their development and strive to achieve their highest potential. Our top teams may compete in showcase level tournaments in addition to both state, regional, and national events depending on the level of the group.

The OUFC Elite program will provide year-round opportunities for
U11-U19 players. Older players will join back up with OUFC once they complete their respective high school seasons. Players are divided based on ability, attitude, commitment to the game, and what OUFC determines is best for the player’s development. Each tier provides curriculum based on the four pillars of the game: technical, tactical, physical, and psychological. Both elite academy and academy level teams will traditionally train side by side to provide connectivity throughout the year, and OUFC staff reserve the right to move players between groups as they see fit.
W.I.N. Academy teams train 3 days per week and generally compete in state and/or regional leagues.
